4. Prerequisite Software

• XFree86 4.0
• For the 3dfx Voodoo3 driver, Linux kernel 2.2.x (later kernels will be supported in the near future, and may be required for some chipsets)
• For the Matrox G200/G400, Linux kernel 2.3.51, with AGP support
• For the Intel i810, Linux kernel 2.3.99-pre6, with AGP support

Mesa 3.3 (beta) is included with XFree86 4.0; there is no need to download the stand-alone Mesa distribution.
