MMCI interface

The Multimedia Card Interface is an AVR32 interface designed to interface Multimedia Memory Cards and Secure Digital memory cards.

Peripheral and connectors

The MMCI interface is used on:

• PCI style expansion connector
• SD/MMC memory card connector

Signals

Please refer the datasheet for the AVR32 processor on you daughter board for a description of these signals

Signal	Description
DAT[0..3]	Bidirectional datalines
CLK	Clock signal line
CMD	Bidirectional Command line
CARDDETECT	Output from the card detect switch in the connector
WRITEPROTECT	Outpout from the write protect switch in the connector
