Description [src]

Validate a KDE Connect device ID.

A compliant device ID is a UUIDv4 string with hyphens (-) replaced with underscores (_), although for backward compatibility strings of any length and content are accepted.

Parameters

id

Type: const char*

A KDE Connect device ID.

The data is owned by the caller of the function.

The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.

Return value

Type: gboolean

TRUE if valid, or FALSE.
