問題 : startx を実行すると X サーバを開始するが、すぐに何のエラーも出さずに終了する ( /var/log/Xorg.0.log を " EE " で検索しても、関係する結果を返さない)。

原因 : startx コマンドを実行しているユーザに空の .xinitrc ファイルが存在するため、X サーバが開始した後、することが何も無いので終了します。

解決策 : .xinitrc ファイルを削除するか、ファイル内でウィンドウマネージャを定義してください。
