      <p>CamperMode keeps your vehicle cabin comfortable overnight by cycling
      the built-in climatisation on and off automatically.</p>

        <li><strong>HEATING</strong> phase: the climatisation runs for one
        cycle (default 30&nbsp;min) per VW system limit.</li>
        <li><strong>PAUSED</strong> phase: the system waits for the configured
        pause duration before starting the next cycle.</li>
        <li>Sessions start either manually from the dashboard or automatically
        via a configured timer.</li>
        <li>Each VW climatisation call lasts up to 30&nbsp;minutes; CamperMode
        re-issues the command at the start of every new cycle.</li>

      <dl class="mb-0">
        <dt>Battery threshold</dt>
        <dd>Session will not start (or will stop) when the battery is below
        this level.</dd>
        <dt>Pause between cycles</dt>
        <dd>Minutes the system waits between heating cycles.
        Set to 0 for continuous operation.</dd>
        <dt>Total duration / Endless</dt>
        <dd>Maximum session length in minutes. Enable <em>Endless</em> to run
        indefinitely until stopped manually.</dd>
        <dt>Target temperature</dt>
        <dd>Desired cabin temperature (15.5–30.0&nbsp;°C).</dd>
        <dt>Additional heating consumers</dt>
        <dd>Seat heating, window heating, and heating zones are disabled by
        default because camper mode only needs cabin air heating — nobody
        sits in the seats while sleeping. Enable the toggle in Settings only
        if you have a specific reason. Each zone activates seat heating,
        steering wheel heating, exterior mirror heating, rear window heating,
        and windscreen heating (requires the Volkswagen connector).</dd>
        <dt>Timers</dt>
        <dd>Schedule automatic session starts by time and day of week.
        One-time timers disable themselves after firing.</dd>

        Running climatisation overnight draws significant battery power.
        Use a conservative battery threshold to avoid a flat battery.

        <li>Set the battery threshold to at least 20&nbsp;% to preserve enough
        charge to start the engine.</li>
        <li>Seat heating, window heating, and heating zones increase power
        consumption significantly beyond base climatisation. Leave them
        disabled unless you have a specific need.</li>
        <li>The scheduler rate-limits START commands to one every
        3&nbsp;minutes to protect the vehicle's telematics hardware.</li>
        <li>If the vehicle goes offline or starts driving, the active session
        is stopped automatically.</li>
