Description: Omarchy desktop layer: the omarchy CLI, themes, defaults, migrations
Omarchy is DHH's opinionated tiling desktop. This package is its
architecture-independent tree at /usr/share/omarchy as upstream lays it
out: the omarchy command router and every omarchy-<group>-<name> script
in /usr/bin, the 22 stock themes and the templates that render one
palette into the terminal, btop, neovim, editors and browsers, the
default configs (hypr, shell, terminals, git, tmux) a user home is
seeded from, the per-user migrations, the web-app and TUI launchers, and
the system drop-ins upstream ships under etc/ (kept as data under
/usr/share/omarchy/etc for the image overlay to activate).
 .
OMARCHY_PATH is exported for every login shell and uwsm session
 (/etc/profile.d/omarchy.sh, /usr/share/uwsm/env.d/10-omarchy). Where
Arch Linux leaked into the tree (pacman, yay and the AUR, limine and
snapper, mkinitcpio, archinstall) the scripts are patched to apt and
dpkg or say so and exit; everything else is byte-identical to the
upstream tag. The Quickshell desktop shell is in omarchy-shell.

Description: Omarchy desktop shell: bar, menu, notifications, lock, idle, OSD
The Quickshell shell that hosts the Omarchy desktop as one long-running
process: the bar and its widgets, the menu tree, clipboard history, the
emoji and wallpaper pickers, reminders, notifications with do-not-disturb,
the on-screen display, the polkit agent, the lock screen (PAM and
fingerprint), idle handling, nightlight, battery, MPRIS and the Wi-Fi QR
panel. It replaces waybar, wofi, mako, swaync, hyprlock, swaylock,
hypridle, swayidle, wlogout and a separate polkit agent.
 .
Ships the shell tree at /usr/share/omarchy/shell, the omarchy-launch-shell
supervisor and omarchy-restart-shell, upstream's SDDM theme and greeter
compositor config, the "Omarchy (Hyprland uwsm)" Wayland session, and the
Omarchy plymouth theme. Runs on Hyprland and, through Quickshell.I3, on
sway and SwayFX, started by the compositor's autostart.
