ZyXEL "Prestige 2864I" firmware release v1.20 (11/27/1996)
-----------------------------------------------------------

Because the naming of the distributed firmware files has not been finalized
yet, I renamed the three firmware files according to the commands with which
they will be uploaded into the Prestige's Flash-EEPROM.

In the file distribution archive "PI_E120.ZIP" (which is the abbrevation
for _P_restige 2864_I_ for _E_uroISDN, release version v1.20) you will find
following files:

atur.bin ..... RAS firmware v1.20 (orignal filename: "ras.3-b")
atupx.bin ..... ISDN firmware v4.12e for "DSS1" ("p2864ie4.12e")
atur3.bin ..... ROMFILE0 firmware ("romfile0")

please upload these files as described in the Prestige User's Manual v1.0
chapter 15-7 ("software update"):

1.) connect the special serial adapter cable (which was shipped with your
Prestige) to any COM-port of your PC
2.) start any terminal software which supports the "XMODEM 128-bytes with
checksum" file transfer protocol (eg: Telix/DOS v3.5x, ProComm plus)
Note: HyperTerminal/95 will work only if the version of Prestige's
Boot Module is "M30A" (or higher)
3.) enter Prestige's SMT menu 24.2 (Baudrate) and select the max. DTE
    speed 38400 bps with 8n1
4.) enter Prestige's SMT menu 24.7 (Software Upload)
5.) upload the RAS code first:
atur -> select the file "atur.bin"
6.) upload the ISDN code next:
    atrs
    atis
atupx -> select the file "atupx.bin"
7.) reboot your Prestige (power off/on) or use the command "atgo"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: the "atur3.bin" (aka "RomFile0") is used only if you want to delete
all settings (IP numbers, remote access entries & password tables,
      filter tables, etc).

ATTENTION: after uploading the file "atur3.bin", your Prestige will
have lost all stored settings (it's set back to factory default !!).
The default DTE speed will be set to 9600 bps and the default password
for entering the SMT menues is set to "1234"
