Hi all,

Due to the fact that I will commit myself into adding codepage support
to xkeyb, I would like to request your help about it, as I would need
more information about further codepages/keyboard layouts that I don't have.

There are four simple ways of collaborating with XKEYB so that FreeDOS
keyboard support works successfully with your local specifications:

At the bottom of this message there's a list of currently supported
keyboard layouts

(A) Add more layouts: if your country/layout isn't listed, then create
your own .KEY file. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes, I just suggest:
- using SCANKBD
- adding the E53 scancode
- adding the COMBI section
(everything is explained in the documentation).
(NOTE: several people were requesting Hungarian layout!)

(B) Help me discover which are the codepages for current layouts, as I only
have a clear idea of those layouts for the US, Spain and Brazil.
If you are a FreeDOS user, just tell me the codepage for which the current
.KEY file you are using is suitable for.

(C) Adding COMBI sections. Many people complains about XKEYB not supporting
diacritics (COMBInations of symbols, like ,). The reason is that most of
the .KEY files do not include COMBI information. It is really easy to add
such COMBI information. It is just a question of writing a couple of lines
like:

  a e i o u A E I O U #32

(D) Help me discover what happens to the ECMA keyboard layout, which includes
only the COMBI information, and therefore, it is useless. Please, contact me
if you have more information about this.
