                        THE DPU SOFTWARE LICENSE
                          TERMS AND CONDITIONS
             FOR USE, COPYING, DISTRIBUTION AND MODIFICATION
                             OF SOURCE CODE

    In order to make clear my wishes on how I would like others to
    treat my software, in the interest of fair play, and in the
    interest of wanting to promote only quality software, free from
    incompleteness, errors and faults, I have drafted this document.

0.  The software and accompanying documentation are provided "As Is"
    without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. In no event
    shall the Author be liable for any loss of profit or any other
    commercial damage, including but not limited to special, incidental,
    consequential or other damages. In no event shall any other person
    offer a warranty of any kind unless authorized to do so by the
    Author.

1.  Any User can transfer copies to amateur and not-for-profit BBSs only
    if the User is familiar with the Program and feels that the Program
    will be of benefit to the quality of the BBS and it's users.

2.  Transfers based solely on gaining "ratio" or other service benefits
    are not considered use of the Program and is prohibited.

3.  The placing of the Program into for-profit archives (such as
    CD-ROM or for-a-fee online services) is not considered use of the
    Program and is prohibited.

4.  Any User can make any amount of modifications as the User deems
    fit for his or her own use and has unrestricted use of the Program
    on any number of computers.

5.  Unsubstantial and small portions of the Program may be used
    outside of the Program without restriction and without permission
    and shall be considered fair use of the Program.

6.  Modified versions of the Program shall be considered a Modified Work
    and remains beholden to the DPU License. The copyright notice and
    this license shall not be modified. Any code modifications must be
    cleary indicated.

7.  Any additions to the code the User makes in a Modified Work remains
    the copyright of that User and shall not be beholden to this licence
    outside of the Original Work.

8.  Any redistribution or transfer of a Modified Work must be accompanied
    by this license, and can be transfered only in the manner as described
    in this document.

9.  Any redistribution or transfer of a Modified Work must be accompanied
    by a notice that the Program is a Modified Work. Such notice shall
    be clearly stated and in plain sight.
