        What is it?

This program is a text-mode viewer for the Interrupt List created and
distributed among the all programmers over the world by Ralph Brown. This
viewer is compatible with the version 56 of interrupt list and possibly
with the newer versions.

        Why is it?

Viewer presents as suitable features as search through topics titles,
letter-by-letter search for needed interrupt/function. It shows all of more
than 8000 topics of the current INTERRUPT LIST, and supports up to 15'000
topics and topic length up to 1'400 lines.

        How does it works?

Program must be started from the catalog that contains the
INTERRUP.LST file. This file can be made by the utility COMBINE.COM,
distributed with the Interrupt List. At the first start viewer creates
index-file for the fast view possibilities in the catalog with the
INTERRUPT.LST (or optionally in other catalog - see Command line section).
After this viewer goes directly to the list of topics - it's topic view
mode. You can read desireable topic by pressing Enter on it - in this case
viewer will go to the topic body view mode.

        Keys

  In topic list view mode:
    to move:
      - arrows up/down, page up/page down, home/end. Also you can type in the
interrupt and the AX register letter by letter.
    to search for a string:
      - F7
    to continue search:
      - Shift-F7, Alt-F7, Ctrl-F7
    to exit viewer:
      - Alt-X, Esc
to enter the topic body view mode:
      - Enter

  In topic body view mode:
to write the topic in a file:
      - W, F2
    to exit this mode:
      - Enter, Esc
    to exit viewer:
      - Alt-X

        Command line

The only command line parameter can be full name of a index file (in
case you don't want to have it in the catalog with the INTERRUP.LST - for
example, if it's a CD-ROM catalog).

        Requirements

This is 32-bit protected mode program, and for normal work it must be
run on a computers with 386+ processor with minimum of 4 Mb RAM. Operation
system - MS-DOS, OS/2, Win95. Minimum amount of free RAM to start the
program is 1.2 Mb.
