Instructions for Submission of Articles to the New York Journal of Mathematics Papers should be prepared according to the Style Specifications for Electronic Submissions to the New York Journal of Mathematics, included in this directory. (If you are accessing the archive via ftp, you can get it as either nyjstyle.tex or nyjstyle.dvi.) You should use the templates in this directory for the topmatter of your paper. Use amsltemp.tex for a paper in amslatex and use amsttemp.tex for a paper in amstex. You should also use the style files in this archive. Amslatex papers should be prepared using nyj.sty and nyj10.sty. Amstex papers should use nyjamst.sty. Your paper should be submitted by electronic mail to the member of the editorial board closest to your field. For your convenience, a guide to the areas considered by the individual editors has been placed in this directory, as Editorial.Areas. Some editors prefer to receive papers by anonymous ftp. Their drop directories are listed in the Editorial.Areas file. If you submit a paper by anonymous ftp, please notify the editor by email that you have done so. The papers will be refereed in the traditional manner, with one anonymous referee. You will have an opportunity to make final corrections before publication. Sincerely, Mark Steinberger Editor in Chief, New York Journal of Mathematics mark@sarah.albany.edu
