have a look at the TODO-section in doc/amavis.txt

* improve resource usage and performance
* modularise configuration
* improve testing/debugging facilities,
  add more tests for different functions of the script
* make test suite work with qmail
* add SMTP facility to use postfix new content filter interface
  for input, too [problem: complete decoupling of input and
  output may require implementation of queueing facility]
* problem: decoding of nested forwarded messages with both
  MIME and non-MIME components
* amavis-milter: use other means of creating *secure* tempdir
  where available (*BSD)
* relax configure requirements for availability of decompressors,
  and implement policy how to deal with un-decompressable files
  and broken archives
* check print return status when writing email.txt
* unzip error msgs on no-sfx executables

* generalised SMTP input and output routines

Inocucmd:
The document [%s] contains an OLE virus. (??)

   9     Jul 20 furio ercolessi (  45) [AMaViS-user] AVP "corrupted" files

I would therefore propose to remove logging from AVP error code 8.
Also, this code should be added in the description of AVP error
codes in README.scanners, together with code 6 "all files with viruses
were removed" (from file Whats.new in my distribution, in the notes
relative to build 133).
